I stayed in band to spite the coaches who all wanted me to play sports because of my height and build. It was like a "fuck you, I'm gonna be arty instead" to them and all the idiot h.s. jocks. But I also HATED playing in marching band in support of sports events. I used to just pretend to play at those things, and I'd purposely march out of step.

Dali rules. my freinds sister had a poster of one of his paintings. it looked a bit like that. it had those weird elaphant creatures in it.
