8/10 for both. I had already seen La Jetée previously but seeing it a second time (and in a theater) made me like it even more. However, I saw Sans Soleil for the first time today and I was really impressed. It was hard staying awake in the beginning (although it's not the movie's fault, it sure doesn't help) but yeah, I sat through the whole thing. I really loved the narration and some parts were really interesting (notably the part about Vertigo or the part about video games) and some were really shocking (the giraffe footage...). I also liked the electroacoustic soundtrack (by Chris Marker himself). Anyway, Sans Soleil is very nice and it's one of the few documentaries that actually make me want to travel (especially to Japan).

9/10 The sound was so fucking good. 7.5/10 Not much to say about this one. It was just highly enjoyable, the perfect length, and easy on the eyes. A good time at the movies.

What more can I ask from this Japanese TV show? Nothing really, Japanese MAD TV... nah, this show is far too abstract and artist to compared to that waste. This Volume One is really out there, but that's what I love about these wacky Japanese free-thinkers. The music tracks outright amazing, same with comedy. HIGHLY Attractive Japanese females performing outrageous sketch comedy to breakcore and classic Japanese music. I'M IN HEAVEN! I stayed up to 4am watching this, with nothing but big smiles and lots of laughs. NOW ON TO VOLUME 2! |

Glad you decided to check it out, and even more glad you enjoyed it. It's insane and brilliant!!! I loved all the nurse segments, and the part where the girl unzipped herself and shit. Just so many brilliant little moments... |

Teenage Caveman is horrendous. Larry Clark likes naked kids more than that guy who directed Clownhouse.
