not only do you have an amazing voice and do a very good interpretation of the song, but your use of slapback echo gives the song it's extra kick (which gives it the mazzy star sound quality).

I looked up the tabs to Heroin. It's all D and G. I can handle that, so I think I'm going to try and cook up a version myself.

I'm messing around a bit with it in dropped D tuning--DADGBD. You can do interesting things up and down the neck that way with just a couple of fingers, and get a nice drone effect.
