Lol, I've found a way to revive threads that no longer show the new posts:
Delete one of your older posts!!!!
Not sure if this works every time, but it did in this one and the Listening thread.
I assume the problem is that no new page is created if the last page is full.

I assume that as well. But instead of deleting an old post (sacrilege!), my "solution"

was to carpet-bomb the thread with new posts until it woke the fuck up again. Since I don't half-ass things, I created a narrative and all: see the torrents thread.

There's supposed to be a "Technical Staff" at earthlink.net which apparently receives an email every time a post goes wrong. Several hundred emails and no action? Sounds like a Republican senator to me.
