I think we can detect some great wit hidden and we're trying to gradually draw it out.

I have a full set of Elvgren playing cards from way back. We found them in Mrs. Clone's grandmother's house after she died, still in the box.
(And the fork could have other applications if you're imaginative with it) |

Yeah, I suppose it is, but if it's playing cards it's probably fairly mass-produced. Still, I'm sure they're worth something just due to their age and having the original box. I made blow-ups of a few of them years ago, and finally just sold them at our yard sale last weekend. Definitely keeping the cards, though.

The only things that seem to annoy people a great deal are doing self-promo more than actual posting if you are an art/band person, or starting new threads about Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, JAMC or Nirvana (each of these bands has about a thousand threads already). Music gear talk should always be done in the "effects" thread.
Aside from that, I can't think of too much. |

I do a little of that as a second job (live music work); setting up stages and sound systems for large events. Of course, since I like the more obscure music personally, there is pretty much zero chance of me setting up for a show I'm actually going to enjoy, but I do enjoy the process and seeing it all come together.
