With the frequency I listen to SY, my 9 year old daughter has shown an inclination towards their music. So after her request the first album I placed on her ipod was Goo. I have followed up with Nurse, Washing Machine and more recently Murray Street & Rather Ripped.
Gotta love it.....she is now hooked on SY. |

I think i started out with one of worst "albums" to start with......Confusion/Kill Yr. idols......though I was hooked.

That's the great thing about Sonic Youth. It seems like even their worst albums can work as a means of getting someone into their music.
There's not too many bands you can say that about, in my opinion. |
