I bought that from a local shop the other day, mainly because I was amazed they'd actually have a PSF record. Usually I only check on the second hand DVDs there because of the piles and piles of shit in the music section. Six Organs side is very good, Azul side is alright. |

Kluster & Friends 1969-1973 - 6xLP Boxset
Kluster and Friends - 1969-1973 6xLP Boxset Qbico Records (Italy 2009) Wow, a seriously amazing unearthed holy grail of early germany experimental proto-industrial/noise... 6 Lps of early Kluster shows pre and post Rodelius and Mobius. Conrad Schnitzler unearthed all these live recordings as a gift to Qbico Records for their supposed final release by the label. And what a gift it is! As far as we know many online sellers have some copies still available. I seriously recommend if you love Kluster to pick this before its gone and selling on ebay for much more than the retail price. All the Lp's in the box are in Black Sleeves with no information on the Black Labels. I've titled the Lp's by the unique name on the hub of each Lp. (ASA, Beta, CVS, DAV, EX, & Fungi!) The audio fidelity of these live recordings is really incredible. Especially when you consider what time period these shows where recorded! http://fm-shades.blogspot.com/ |

Ashtray Navigations - Tapwater Locomotive 3" EP Ashtray Navigations was Phil Todd's solo project, now a group effort. Mr. Todd was the head of the now defunct Betley Welcomes Careful Drivers label. He now runs Memoirs Of An Aesthete. This release was limited to 30 pieces. Link: http://rapidshare.com/files/30102252...CKN.5CK.PK.rar

This has been floating around the internet for a while. Anyways,
just recently discovered it. It's great Nasmak Plus Instruments/Instruments Plus Nasmak (LP, Plurex, 1980) One of those albums I sadly missed when it came out, although I had other stuff by Nasmak in those days, like the earlier posted '4Our Clicks'. Nasmak started as Nasmaak, a band with lots of dressing up, and with a leading role for Truus de Groot. But sheer experimentation took over when they release Nasmak Plus Instruments, their first LP. The a-side shows them in conventional line up, whereas the b-side is more about Truus and her crackle box. She will soon leave the group to work with Plus Instruments (their two albums can be found on other blogs). I just got a solo tape from her, which I'll post next week. This LP was John Peel's favorite continental record back then, and Nasmak was the first Dutch band to do a Peel Session. download |

Get out the lava lamp, love beads and granny glasses! This classic 1967 album was recorded in NYC at the height of the Flower Power Movement. It features David Dalton and Victoria Sackville on vocals and many other musicians of the day in a free-for-all bun. Recorded during the height of the Flower Power Movement, classic 1967 free form album that features lots of sitars, chimes, harpsichord and other far out sounds. Even includes notes on how to spice up your parties using TV's, kaleidoscopes, and other "natural things" Crazed and hilarious acid exploitation album that goes far out enough to become genuinely psychy, like a second tier Deep. One part is cheesy garage psych including the classic "Play your game", the other is 'meditation' featuring strange fairytales, Hare Krishna chanting, and more. The short spoken segment on Pebbles vol 3 that's puzzled many comes from this album. A Canadian mono release exists (review by Andersson Christer - amazon.com) http://lix.in/-5f7f3d password: xara |

RIDE: 'Like a Snowflake' MP3
Kudos to Tsuru for tracking this down for me. This 1991 Christmas single "Like a Snowflake" is probably one of the most sought after RIDE singles in existence. It was originally released as a 7" single at a hometown gig and, much later, could be seen floating around record swaps at an overpriced amount. Listening to it now it sounds somewhat dated and flat -- at least it does vocally -- compared to its amazing template "Like a Daydream". That track certainly holds up. Regardless, it's nice to have this version. |||RIDE: "Like a Snowflake" MP3||| It can be found on www.surfingonsteam.blogspot.com |

E-mail the blogger. Ask him (and it probably is a 'him') to re-up it. They're usually quite decent chaps (unlike the cunts on here).
