My favorite guitar tone: Pop Staples of the Staples Singers on their really early records from the Vee-Jay label. (quality doesn't do it justice, but: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhtgZKC9tts) Especially on their version of Uncloudy Day.

I'd kinda agree... fugazi has one great album (the argument). I think 13 songs is terrible.

13 songs is their only album that i still LOVE
it was one of those albums that changed everything for me.
repeater is great as well. steady diet and red medicine arent as great.

I don't think 13 Songs is terrible, but it's certainly their weakest (yes, I even like SDoN better.)
