What, Bertrand involuntarily metamorphosed into a string of text???? Really?
Poor old Bertrand. Oh, now I see it. I had to copy and paste the text into the address bar. What's that about?

someone has to bump this thread prior to every deadline... seriously.
i keep forgetting to make transfers and switch my injured/suspended players. this is already the 3rd time or so that i knew in advance that my captain wouldn't be playing but forgot to replace him in time. |

D Day - 1.
A tip for those who can't see the games : on http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/ , Sport Latest, you've got accounts of the games, and team schemes (answers questions like where on the field does midfielder X play?). It's far from being as good as watching the game, of course, but at least you get to see whose names are frequently dropped, for good or bad. Live Now speaks for itself. Once the game is over, its live transcription and comments goes to the Results part, where it stays 24 hours. |

thanks for bumping. i'll remember to make some changes later today.
one way of watching live football online is via http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/ you'll need to install additional p2p software though, like ppcast. |

Oh dear... not a good week for me to have two Manchester City players in my defence. Winners Blues' plummet towards relegation begins here.

i almost had tevez as captain this round, as man utd had an easy game against middlesborough.
but i finally got my hands on fabregas (after forgettting/missing the deadline transfer a couple of times) and couldn't resist making him captain. i doubt that against liverpool he's going to get me as many points as tevez has though. anyway, it's a good weekend for anyone with man utd and chelsea forwards in their team. |

My centre forwards have been fackin useless, so Andy Johnson and David Healy are OUT, Kenwyne Jones and... someone else, i forget, are in.
ALSO, Nigel Reo-Coker - worst idea ever. Owen Hargreaves back from injury so in he goes for next week. I also forgot to update before this weekend, shite. |

oh yeah, my captain just scored from an assist by hleb, who's also in my team. so far i have 4 goal scorers this week, scoring 5 goals in total, plus a clean sheet for czech. hopefully i'll be moving up the ranks a bit today.

Well well well...
I don't know if I'll bump this thread next week, considering pokkeherrie was rude enough to get as much points as he could, which isn't quite polite, I'd say. |

Sorry, I had to make up for leaving an injured captain in my team last week.
But yes, looks like I have the highest score for October. I was surprised to be up to 5th now... at the start of this month I was only 13th or so. Watch out, Bertrand! |

I'm still 100 points away... I'll need another 2 similarly good months at least.

that's not the score for october but just for last weekend. thanks for making me look good though.
i'll post october's score as well because i really don't know if i'll ever be top of the month again this season. 1 Ball and the Header 192 2 the world looks red 179 3 os transgénicos 158 4 Sonic All-Stars 156 5 Ecclesiasticus 147 6 Durban Poison XI 146 7 FC Portogal 142 8 Winners Blues 139 9 Gerbils FC 132 10 FC Barcelona 129 11 downhill fc 127 12 fauxhemians 124 13 Feltham Probationers 123 14 FC Plecewice 115 15 bola na rede 108 16 FC Foster's 107 17 Kelly Greens 94 18 Napalm Death 93 19 Dream/Aktion Unit 86 oh, and thanks again for the bump, i really would've forgotten again. i just found out that player values are variable prior to the deadline as well, so that it's best to make transfers early in the week. the transfer i had in mind costed me 0.1 more now than it would've done a few days ago... and my team is already worth less than 100.0. sweet late equaliser for arsenal. |
