not sure if youve got ginko trees there but ginko trees smell like vomit just around this time of the year (in the northern hemisphere) when their fruits drop on the sidewalk and partially explode on the concrete. they stiiiiiiink! |

Yah, it's really nasty. Baltimore in general is a pretty depressing city.

^ In Baltimore, you see that everywhere expect for the major touristy/rich rich areas. The bad parts of town are just worse.

don't even get me started. this: vs. this the architecture doesn't even look remotely similar although one of the reasons i like bmore is that the gentrification here isn't NEARLY as awful as in new york city. also, yeah, a cool thing here is that there is a lot of warehouse art

new york city fucking rules. willfully moving away from new york was one of the most difficult decisions i've ever had to make in my life. i would never have decided to move here if i were not for the fact that, while at college in the suburbs, i made so many amazing friends and fell in love with my gf of 3 1/2 years. i was not ready to leave all that so abruptly. however, i have every intention of moving back to new york city once i have more money in my bank account.

yeah, but it's worth it. the $600 per month rooms are a total steal.
the average rent for a decent sized room in an okay location is well over $1000
