I seen the Raveonettes perform 1 song only...though it was the song I really wanted to hear the most....Beat City. They opened up for the strokes a cople years ago...though WE got their late due to my brother's friends....bastasrds...

UGH....YES they did. and I missed them.

I was lucky to get to the show on time, considering my friend's somewhat hazy state of mind. we had to go back to the hotel because he forgot wallet, then we had to wait outside a bar while he watched the final moments of the cowboy's game. doors opened at 8:00 and I didn't walk in until 9:50 (about 5 minutes before Jonestown started).

I would have pushed to show up earlier had I known the opening band wasn't sucky (they usually are).

my norwegian friend went to a dent may concert and got the guy to sing me a happy birthday song, filmed it and sent it to me. i can't stop smiling.

my birthday is two weeks away btw.
