How could playing a GC game on the Wii possibly be any different than playing it on the GC?

Other than the fact that you have to access it from the Wii Menu, you are right, there is no real difference.

To be quite honest, I've always felt The Day Gaming Died was the day SEGA announced not only the discontinuation of the Dreamcast but of their entire hardware line, period. Think about it; it's been downhill ever since: overhyped consoles (PS2), oversized consoles (Xbox), undersupported consoles (Gamecube), underdeveloped consoles (Xbox 360), overpriced consoles (PS3, originally), underpowered consoles (Wii) , and let's not even get into the hard times Sonic the Hedgehog's been going through...

the trailer for the game looks pretty cool. i'm pretty sure it's not going to be as good as dkc2, but i'm glad they went back to 2D side scrolling

it took me 8 hours from scratch to rol up the sun. I really dont know if thats a good thing or not.

WE LOVE KATAMARI is my favorite game to play while on acid, shrooms, or x... Rez is also good for that.. and Lumines.

oh yes, rez is awesome.
but the ost of we love katamari rules, especially the one in the 17 minutes version. 2500 meters and a tune planted in my ear.
