I downloaded the Special 12 Singles CD through itunes. The Omar songs are really really wonderful, especially "0", that songs is so pretty!! I haven't got the Omar & Jeremy album yet either, but only because i haven't had the money. It will be the next CD that i buy. I am currently listening to this - It's by the guys from Giant Panda, definitely worth checking out. The songs i have from this are really great. I only managed to find two songs from this CD though, i have Taller Gomez and Back To The Grind Again. If anyone has the others, please let me know! |

Their cover of "And Then He Kissed Me" is one of the best songs ever. Quote:

I still haven't got that one, i bought the Lydia Lunch one last month, still haven't gotten around to listening to it properly. Try and find it, "0" is one of the prettiest Omar Rodriguez-Lopez songs ever! |

The Lydia Lunch one isn't my favorite, everything sounds so similar on it. Found it! You're right, it's great. Also, I've been listening to "Deus Ex Machina" from Manual Dexterity a lot. It's Omar's father doing the Spanish vocals on it.

I've been singing it for days. I don't notice it until someone asks me if I'm singing in Spanish.

That album rules. So many good power chord riffs.
If you like Wipers, listen to Hot Snakes. VERY similiar guitar sound/playing... (that's kinda where the similarities end but still) |
