i realize this is a double standard, but those girls with full sleeves and chest tats and even neck tats... have they forgotten they will someday be fucking 40? that shit isn't going to look good. AT ALL. a man could probably get away with it though.

plus, those type of tattoos are full of half-baked symbolic meaning and unless you've got the time to look at them closely might as well just be random blobs of colour.

i have two simple ones that hold personal meaning to me and are hidden from sight. they're not going to look bad as i age, they're black and not detailed.

I'd hate to have something on my body, that is now the domain of the desperate pseudo-rocker. Tats used to be a 'fuck you!', now they're just a 'fuck me?' - might as well buy an expensive car, or designer clothes in an attempt to catch someones eye.
