Hey, Just thought I'd post a few shows in here that have been sitting on my server for a while now. They were intended to be for posting to my music blog but I kinda stopped posting on there a while back and I might as well use them. I'll start with some of my own older MASTER recordings, some of you may have these from DimeADozen already..
Wolf Eyes 2007-20-04 20th April 2007 Whelans, Dublin, Ireland Source: Sony ECM-719 > Sony 1gb Hi-MD > PCM WAV Location: Front Of Stage. Slightly stage-right. Transfer: Hi-MD > USB > Slight EQ in Audacity > WAV > FLAC. Notes: - No point splitting this up into tracks. Its all one long noise jam.. Watch out for Stabbed In The Face, The Driller and Black Vomit though. Total running time: 77mins 49secs File Size: 494mb http://tinyurl.com/mjks2g |

Transfer: Hi-MD > USB > Slight EQ in Audacity > WAV > FLAC. http://tinyurl.com/67gsj8a (This one hasn't seen major circulation because I asked not to circulate it for a year after because of a potential DVD of the show, it never transpired so here you guys go!) |

Now on to some show that aren't taped by myself..
Sunburned Hand of the Man ICA, London, UK 20 June 2008 “Twelve Rules for Black Square Voids: A Long, Irrational Projection” 1 untitled piece, 50 minutes TRT. Paul Labrecque John Moloney Sarah O’ Shea Robert Thomas Ron Schneiderman All on vox, FX, sticks & theatrics Recorded by pjc SBD -> HP iRiver H120 -> SoundForge -> FLAC v1.1.2a with FLAC Frontend v1.7.1. Review from pjc on the original upload: Now this is freakin’ insane. I speak as someone who has lost count of the number of times I’ve seen & taped Sunburned, not to mention still reeling from a Butthole Surfers gig on Saturday, so I know insanity, and this is it. Beats their previous peak of craziness, ATP December 2006. Wish I could have supplied a DVD of this as it was as much a visual piece as audio. A play, of sorts, a live film soundtrack, of sorts. Found a couple of links that give a slight idea of what went down: http://gabrielgreenphotography.blogs...nd-of-man.html and http://www.ica.org.uk/Sunburned20Hand20of20The20Man20202620guests+17281. twl. Mix is good; only regret is it doesn’t pick up too much of the audience shaking tambourines, of which there were a few dozen and sounded incredible. http://www.tinyurl.com/sunburnedhand |

Aaron Dilloway
Bardens Boudoir, London, 07 Dec 2006 Soundboard -> iRiver H120 -> SoundForge -> FLAC v1.1.2a with FLAC Frontend v1.7.1 1 13 minute jam Recorded & transferred by pjc http://www.mediafire.com/?wjndtlnziyz (Probably my favourite live recording I have. I'm a huge Dilloway fan anyway but this was recorded a day after I first saw him live at ATP so it's representative of what I love about it) |

Nate Young and Aaron Dilloway
The Grosvenor, London, UK 07 Apr 2009 2 untitled solo jams SBD -> HP iRiver H120 -> SoundForge -> FLAC v1.1.4a with FLAC Frontend v1.7.1 Recorded by pjc http://tinyurl.com/nyadlive (Another great show. In the original blog post I made about this Dilloway actually commented on it complimenting the quality. I'm pretty sure this recording was then released on Hanson as a small run tape) |

I was missing the Gang Gang Dance and Battles recordings. Thanks very much for those, and also for sparking some life in this thread. I've got all of the others and have listened to them many times, probably downloaded some from your blog, even. I can only say that all the positive things mentioned in the info files are true. Those recordings by pjc are wonderful. Anyway, here's one by fykfyk:

I have lots more master to upload, I've been taping pretty regularly in the last year or so and have sets from Sun Araw, Godspeed You Black Empreor, Blue Sabbath Black Fiji, Vomir, Stellar OM Source, Our Love Will Destroy The World (ex-Birchville Cat Motel) taped and primed to upload over the next while. I hope to be taping Wooden Wand & Cian Nugent this Thursday as well.

I feel the need to bump this due to it's extremely awesome characteristics, like some twisted avant-Sabbath kraut-riff monster destroying all in it's wake and striking fear into the hearts of men. Best boot ever? just maybe... EDIT: ...somehow this is simultaneously the best Kraftwerk album AND the best Neu! album. I would pay full retail price for a triple LP release of this show. I wonder if the band (or anyone else) has good archival unreleased tapes from this era? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbK1GulvSDQ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06xM4...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8Y_-ZLGW1o http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqTOw...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ry64e...eature=related |
