I remember there's someone here who may have the same fan as me? Not that you can really tell in these.

I went to the beach today, with my friend and her dog.
Buddy was proud of his chewed stick. This beast ran across our blanket We picnicked on Crispers

looks like the photos and some artwork from around the ummagumma/atom heart/meddle period. it also looks like the individual pics in the back of the velvet underground and nico, a bit.

i wouldve taken it very differently myself. for one i would have used a flash and waaaayyyy overexposed it or used really hard lighting. |

I would have done it differently too, I dunno how but...
Anyways, I do like it how it is. I also like that it's colour and not black and white.

i like that it's vivid color yet natural.
i'm sick of black and white artwork but it comes with the diy spirit, just ask crass. --- no problem, lass *wink wink*. |

I like some black and white stuff, just there's shit out there that really bothers me.
Some people think making something black and white automatically makes it a good picture. That really bugs me.

yeah, most of the time, b/w pics end up looking like grey-ish messes.

people don't know how to do it properly is the problem. they either use far too much contrast or far too little. and fucking no one knows how to compose a picture anymore. it's not that hard.

i don't either but you know how people try and take a picture of themselves by holding their camera out at arm's length and pulling some bizarre angled pose? and think it's good because they plastered on makeup and upped the contrast a bunch?
that shit doesn't work. |

If they're tyring to make it look like a technically good picture, then I think they look pretty dumb most of the time.
But if it's just for the sake of taking a picture of yourself, then whatever. You know?
