i spent almost the whole day in bed today. but the past two weeks, i was out walking and running in the nice california heat. i guess i'm making up for it.

try going out in the sunlight every morning. it sets your brain right. if you're indoor all days (due to the heat or whatever), you'll get depressed.

tomorrow i need to go for a run really badly. run, catch up with band.. yeah.

but my thing is, i thrive off of others' energy. i love being alone but taking a break is just hard.

one of my best summers ever i spent like this;
mornings- wake up and read this amazing, long, complicated book
mid-day- go to the fish market w/ the then-girfriend & shop around for lunch. go home, make lunch.
afternoons - hang out, go to the pool, play scrabble
evenings - make dinner, go to a bar, go watch a movie.

slooooow pace, and so delicious i remember it always.

i have to always be going. even in california, when i said i'd be relaxing, i meant i was out every day running or at the stores all day. save for the last few days i was stuck in the house/library.
