people love their money WAY to much to part with it.. Only Jesus said, "give to caesar whats caesar's.." and meant it.. only religion and faith could make a fool depart with his riches and as such.. look at how much people complain and are scared to let their tax dollars go to things like Public Health Care or Public Housing or other things? But whether it goes to charity or not, sunday after sunday folks through duckets into the basket at church..

To stay in theme with your thread, i only got banged up once being too drunk, and i deserved it. The cops told me that it was for my own safety, and were really nice to me.

banishing religion is my own personal dream, but I did not refer to any of that. Just saying that the separation of church and state in the USA applies to any and all religions.

make believe dreams about "afterlives" and "salvation" have no place in day-to-day governance. Whenever they are used in governance, it is to exert tyrannical control, as genteel so kindly pointed out.

in France for sure. I would not place the problems of the french government on not having enough religion involved though.

[quote=SuchFriendsAreDangerous]I was raised on Abraham Isaac and Jacob, but as a man religion is a process, faith is a continuous transformation. As such, I am a seeker. While I was raised on the bible in depth and have spent my adulthood even deeper into it, I combine it with any and every holy book I can get my hands on, as Rob explained:
quote] That is why I asked. Yr theories and beliefs are very similiar to mine and I have yet to meet anyone (other than my man) who has presented these similar thoughts to me. I have to say it is refreshing. "While I was raised on the bible in depth and have spent my adulthood even deeper into it, I combine it with any and every holy book I can get my hands on" My path exactly. Keep on seeking. We'll find it one day.
