I do not agree on the LOTR flicks. I thoroughly enjoyed them all!

LOTR trilogy was okay, good in parts
the oscar deluge for the return of the king was certainly goofy know a likeable but young & slightly dim fellow who loves troy i've never been able to make it through it looks like beowulf will be the next bastardized epic, but hoping for the best |

This piece of shit proves beyond all doubt that Joel Shumacher is the root of all evil. M. Night Shyamalan is a close runner up. |

Meh, it's marginally better. I was more trying to get across the idea that I think M. Night Shyamalan sucks. |

SHAMALAMADINGDONG always tries to make a specific type of movie, very difficult to pull off, that of horror/suspense/fantasy. I give him major credit for attempting it. His cinematography is always beautiful and his movies look good, but they just do not hold up as stories.
I enjoyed sixth sense a lot when I saw it. The alien one was 50/50, lady in the water was weird and I liked about 1/3 of it. I REALLY LIKE Unbreakable. The village one was terrible. but at least he goes for something. Joel Schumaker is just yr typical big bang explosives popcorn extravaganza director.

Yeah, I'll give you that. At least he's trying something different. I just didn't like The Sixth Sense at all. Everyone I talked to about that movie had it all figured out from the beginning, same with The Village. Unbreakable was pretty cool though. I'm sticking by my statement that Joel Shumacher is the root of all evil, but Michael Bay gets an honorable mention for this... |

Ha! I felt the same way. The whole time, I was sitting there thinking, "Okay... when is this meteor gonna hit so I can get the fuck out of here!?" What an awful movie. |

I saw armaggedon on HBO late one night after a day of hard rockin.
It was incomprehensible to me how terrible it was. But there is one worse. the new KING KONG that movie drove me to nearly tear my eyeballs out it was so bad. i made it 30 minutes, and it is a nearly 3 hour movie!

Night thinks he's today's answer to Rod Serling, its obvious. Well, Mr. Night (I really doubt his parents named him Night, even as a middle name), you sir, are no Rod Serling. |

good play, terrible movie... the woman's acting was so stiff it was hard not to laugh. when she's supposed to be all distraught at the end of act one, and blurts out "i'm bad," someone shouted "you sure ARE, honey" ...only movie i ever walked out of. ...also bad.

Time cop? Every time I hear that name I am reminded of RoboCop. And Jean Claude is a poor man's Arnie. Who was also in some shit movies (Total Recall, anyone?)
