yeah malbranque is great. we need ledlay and gareth back big time, we really lack a strong defence. im not sold on zakora at all to be homest, we dont need chimbonda at all! boateng looks like a good player and may i play mt tim huddlestone card again..... a future glenn hoddle, he just needs a bit more nurturing! lets hope this is te start of something good , top 6 finish and uefa cup, maybe a domestic cup?

What a performance with 10 men for Spurs tonight (this is turning into a Spurs thread innit. Sod it, its better than another My Bloody Valentine discussion).
Christ i hope Defoe doesnt get dropped against Arsenal. If he does i think he will go

I certainly did pick the wrong folks! - captain Gerrard = 1 point, kindly doubled by Fantasy Premier League... 2 points - Fat Frank = 1 point (I even transfered the bastard in for 4 points, so his netto result was -3) - Pamarot = cheap and clever transfer I thought, but I benched him (only player in my team to keep a clean sheet! ) and he immediately got injured for about a month. - Transfered Fabregas out because I had no clue he already would be playing again. Those super sunday weekends are really hard to estimate... oh well, at least I didn't transfer Santa Cruz out just weeks before his hattrick! I wonder how many people are still playing this? |

Santa Cruz's retaliation made me sad; but I already had the feeling something had gone wrong, when Kuyt scored twice after I kicked him out.
Nevermind, my team's still shining. |

It's been a pretty good Christmas for point-scoring, if people have picked the right teams. Any of you lucky buggers got Berbatov?

... bertrand, why i support spurs, they are the first team i recognized as a kid and the first football shirt i wanted (i was about 3) maybe i connected with the cock or something!!!! we would be on top of the league if we could defend, 6-4, incredible game, spurs are officially the most entertaining team in the league! |

OK. My personal faves come from my younger days too, when Dalglish played for Liverpool and looked like the youngest player on the field, which was the easiest way for me to relate to anyone involved in the game. I'd add that I have a fondness for Villa and Nottingham Forest for the same reasons (and their beautiful shirts, that didn't look like any French team shirt). |

I fucking hate this game so much. I really suck at making choices!
Last week I had Gerrard vs Derby captain but changed it 5 minutes before the deadline to Fabregas for fear of Benitez resting good ol' Steve against the bottom ranked team in the league... of course he wasn't rested, scored and got bonus points while Fabregas was largely invisible vs Portsmouth. Oh, did I mention that I had Distin (man of the match, 9 points) benched in that Portsmouth game as well? This week I finally sold Kitson and he immediately took revenge by scoring twice AND getting 3 bonus points vs Spurs. (BTW, I Didn't see the game, but how the hell does Berbatov only get 1 bonus point after scoring 4 goals!?) |
