its all about the age...
if you start smoking weed when your 12 and doing harder drugs by the time you're 15 like half of these stories you read... you'll probably end up alot more fucked up by age 18 or 20 and etc (usually the age people develope things like schizophrenia) because like Rob said a few pages back, your brain isn't fully developed. I don't know, I waited till I was about 18 or 19 before I started playing in the dark matter, and the only side effects I have are knowing myself better and feeling a bit superior to people who refuse to experiment and open their eyes. But much like my idol, " I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me." |

nonsense-- i started smoking weed at 19 and it fucked me up. at first it was like "oh, wow, a new world!", but soon all i could think of was getting high-- "to eat lunch", "to watch a movie", "to write my exam", "to go to the beach", so that for every purpose and activity there was the need to get high. eventually i don't know if it made me schizophrenic but i sure started acting crazy. probably because at the time i had some unresolved "issues", and guess what? they exploded under the influence. drugs are drugs. you can become an alkie if you start drinking at 55. sure the risk is lesser for competent adults, but there are many people who are emotionally incompetent and are going to always need a crutch to make themselves feel better or at least forget about their life's pain with the help some external substance.
anyway i forgot why i was writing this, ha ha, but there you have it. |

yeah, hahahaha; i was laughing for two days straight about all of this. and the thing is, a few weeks before this, a moron accidentally set off a bomb he was supposed to put on a government office, so at first, most people thought the car explosion was another terrorist attempt gone wrong. nobody has blown up a car for passing a doobie, think about that! |

Im 17 and i smoke just about everyday, and i have seriously been wondering if i should stop because my mind probably isnt fully "developed". I started smoking more daily for the past year or so but not always in large quantities (somedays i might smoke a few bowls and other days i might hit my friends bong all day and a blunt or two or go to a party) I really dont know if im damaging myself, i havent experienced any negative side-effects and if anything its helped me greatly through many things. The reason lately i have been a little skeptical about it is because recently my friend went crazy and went to the pshyciatric unit in the hospital for a month. hes out now and he was diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia (hes 19 and has been smoking consistently for the past couple years) Its just wierd, i just dont want to end up in the same boat. He still smokes alot all day |

The main problem I found with drinking all the time, or at least more frequently than not, is the absolutely horrific nature of one's stool. Otherwise - drinking all the time is ace. I'm looking forward to finding some time in my life to devote to being drunk always.

I would give it up or at least drastically reduce how much you take. You don't know what long term damage you might be doing. I would never let myself get addicted to something or take something regularly (accept caffeine) because I don't want to not properly experience my life because I am out of my head all the time, however powerful the drug. It's infantile as well; it protects you from life. |

pssh that burn was weak. i use it to experience life on a different level (maybe not a higher one, but somethin) i dont abuse it and am not addicted, i just enjoy doing it and it really gets my creative juices flowing, i try not to let it interfere with anything.
anyway, thanks for your advice. Im definitley taking a break from it, maybe just do the "weekend warrior" kinda thing or whatever. i was just worried i might go crazy, my family has an incredible reputation for mental illnesses |

marihuana, the plant, is ALIVE
you burn it, with fire, whish is nearly "alive", you smoke it and it enters your alive body. your alive brain is affected and you experience the "high" that is LIFE no less than eating a delicious meal makes you feel ridivculously good, or a goof cuk, or strenuous excercise. life is life there is nothing in teh world that is not of the world. are ant piles "artificial?" are termite mounds artificial? nope. kim gordon said it best the city is a natural state. anything humans create is NATURAL by virtue of humans being natural.
