Very justified crush too. Given her luck with boyfriends though, perhaps best not to date her though.

Finally watched the first 2 episodes of Stranger Things 2. Off to a slower start than season 1, but I'm enjoying it.

So far no moreso than Daredevil. But Daredevil was pretty violent (dude decapitated by car door in episode 2). It’s good though. Strikes a nice balance between holding to the Veterans symbol the character has become, but avoiding right-wing batshit craziness. Nicely paced. Little bit espionage thriller, little bit western, little bit... New Jack City? Violent, sure, but not excessively so. Not yet anyway. |

Actually, it’s very very violent. Yes. Sorry. I’m just thinking on it now, and the amount of blood and guts is substantially higher than any of the other shows, including Daredevil (which had a lot of blood and guts).
But it’s pretty good. Never been a fan of the character, really. But the show’s ok as comic book nerd methadone. |

Bubbles and Ricky are two of my favorite television characters ever created. Hash driveway era of that show was fucking epic comedy. |

The violence is a selling point in my book. Who wants a tame Punisher? If you had written, "It's not violent at all, but it's really well written, acted and produced," I would've passed. Now I'm gonna check it out. Did anyone see PUNISHER: WAR ZONE? It's a masterpiece of over-the-top violence. All sorts of unfortunate things happen to all sorts of heads. I love it. |

I think I thought at first that it was not significantly more violent than Daredevil. But upon further reflection, and as the show progressed, I realized that was just my own long-simmering desensitization talking. There were moments that I had to look away. Seriously. Faces are pulpified. People bleed out through their jugulars. Men take bullets, knives, mirrors and countless blunt force blows to the head, all in the same scene. It sneaks up on you a bit. It’s not all over the show, and some episodes don’t focus on much action, but when it happens it’s like the thing kicks into Rambo/Terminator/RoboCop mode and you’re like, “Aw FUCK ME THIS IS VIOLENT!” I fell asleep during Punisher: War Zone... I actually forgot it existed (it melded in my mind with the ‘04 Punisher with Tom Jane and John Travolta) If it’s gonna be THAT B-RATED during the era of prestige superhero flicks (War Zone dropped during the Iron Man/Dark Knight era) then it might as well have starred Bruce Campbell and just allowed itself to be a gory ass joke. This new Punisher has the Punisherness though. The other guys played him like a random gun guy... basically like John Mcclaine, but this... this is PUNISHER. His speech is a little off from the comics, but the soul of the character is finally there. It’s cool. |

Eh. I'm four episodes in, and I may finish, but I'm not digging it.
They made it too good. The plot is much thicker than it needs to be. I want more schlock. And the most violence I've seen is war violence, which isn't fun. I want to see bad guys get their heads blown off with a shotgun, dammit. And these buff action stars suck. Dude has no personality. I'm assuming this is all winding up to a gory bloodbath. If it doesn't I want my money back on the electricity I used to illegally download it. |

When? I'm about to start episode 5. If I don't see brain matter flying, I'm just going to jump to the last episode.

if you want schlock i highly recommend the spartacus series from starz. 1. spartacus blood and sand 2. spartacus something something 3. spartacus war of the damned it’s at the same time cheesy and great. one of those things. highly pornographic, and that goes for the violence as well. in other words: tits, ass, and exploding heads. in the last series (i’m watching now) people get their skulls split open like bloody vaginas. literally. no, literally. but yes, literally. |

in the first three eps you saw point blank good ol 'merican asssasination and torture. tons of fools getting blown away on screen, etc. The Punisher was never designed to be a sadist. he killed, not tortured. he was a cop in comix, but (of course) he is some sort of "hero" government trained killer special forces assassin asshole. what a fucking joke. They turned the Punisher from an ex-cop avenging angel to a sterotypical "jason bourne-esque" dipshit assassin who i now has to kill those that trained him to kill. fucking stupid.

Having evacuated just about the same time the new TV Seasons started, we haven’t watched any of our regular shows. (NOTE: we would DVR programs and watch later in week).
Unbeknownst to us, my Aunt has DVRd, Young Sheldon. Probably not something I would normally watch. My daughter started Episode One and we ended up watching the first three. I like it because it’s set in 1980’s Houston and Sheldon’s brother wears Houston Oiler t-shirts......just like I did in the 1980’s. |

ha ha ha. ive never heard of that. what is it? btw, you asked me last time if netflix/amazon would work with an ipad sending via lightning cable + adapter to a tv. forgot to say— the answer is of course YES. amazon works better than netflix with ipad. ipad iphone both work the same. adapter is $50 at apple store. furthermore, found out there’s a samsung device to do the same— sending your screen to tv. so if you have a samsung phone, look it up. doesn’t need to be a samsung tv, it’s an adapter and runs cheaper than the apple one of course. ok! enjoy so what is young sheldon? |

It gets worse/better/whatever you sicko I recommended it to a friend who has a high-school age son, and told him it was “no more violent than Daredevil” and I had to take that back. It is more violent than Daredevil. But it’s 13 episodes long, and there’s a bit of waiting. The violence is more than enough to have made it a Hard R had it been a feature film though. |

American Horror Story: Cult (aka, AHS: TRUMP! AAAH!) was pretty good. Nice freaky little story about a little fuckass demagogue motherfucker who rules people with fear (which he creates by murdering people in a small town in a post-Trump purple state, and then leveraged to get ahead in a budding political career). Lil baby Trump. Nothing really new... no genuinely interesting political commentary... but still, better than that Roanoke bullsht.
