Finished Hammerhead Ranch Motel last night. easily 10/10, perhaps the funniest book I've ever read. Will be starting the next Tim Dorsey book, Orange Crush tonight after I read some more Venus in Furs.
Bought today- Tropic of Cancer - Henry Miller Crime - Irvine Welsh

I just finished reading this book. I think it is a very honest and reflective book and I recommend it to anyone who is into the eels. It is both sad and funny and it has given me a larger appreciation of E's music, which I love anyway, but more having read his memoir.

StevOK you really shouldn't bother with the Rama sequels, they're rather bad and actually written by Gentry Lee not Clarke.
1006 pages in 9 days. Going to read all of Ellroys 'L.A. Quartet' now, got another 15 fiction books and countless non-fiction piling up in the book case unread
