Anyone a fan?
http://fourthstringthirdfret.blogspo...-of-slide.html "He plays in half a dozen tunings on his National guitar with the bottleneck he made as a child of 13. He realised many years ago that all the good music happened on the frontiers of colonialism, so he not only plays the old African American blues, but he is a master of the laptop dobro style, Hawaiian style, African style, and of all things, Okinawaan style (don't worry though folks, this album is just blues)." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Brozman http://www.last.fm/music/Bob+Brozman (make sure and watch that video on there that says Bob Brozman song 1.. there's more on youtube if you're interested) Awesome and inventive guitar stuff, lots of slide, insanely talented... uh.. dunno what else to say really. Very bluesy but with Hawaiin and middle eastern influences. I dunno, watch one of the videos on youtube, it'll blow your mind... Here's some albums: http://rapidshare.com/files/105977606/BOB_km_G.rar "kosmik blues groove" http://www.shareonall.com/BobBroz-BHS_hkaq.zip "blue hula stomp" http://www.zshare.net/download/8592133567984b/ "snapping the strings" (probably my favorite so far) |

"a truckload of blues" and "great sounds of the slide guitar" are amazing.
I've listened to this song about 30 times today: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ijgilh Probably the best slide playing I've ever heard... |

I remember you(I think it was you) posting a youtube link a while back in another thread and I dug it. Plus with a name so close to Brotzmann, it's got to be good.

An obscene amount of Brozman albums. All links work I think. I specifically reccomend "Mahima"... |

I heard him talking on a show on the BBC about the history of the guitar... I taped it I think. I'll check him out I guess.
