Should I try Salvia?

Me and a friend are thinking of trying salvia together. He's gonna get it from a friend who buys it from the our town's head shop. Neither of us have had any experiences with drugs. Spare me the "drugs are bad for you" bullshit, and just give me some info. I've checked it out on Erowid.org so I'm pretty informed, I just wanna get some stories/info from you guys/girls. I heard it's really horrible and I heard it's profound, so you know, I'm kinda confused.

I suppose you felt that feedback from consulting a messageboard before smoking clove cigarettes wasn't as necessary.

man, when I smoked that shit, I would have killed to have had just a headache, to have only pretended and imagined that terrible, horrific trip. but atari is right, you probably dont have the good extract, but if you do, be careful, and tread lightly, that shit may only last three minutes, but it can feel like more of an eternity then you have ever imagined....or not.

i generally hate it when good ritual plants are used for recreation, escapism and general imbecility. if you want a headache, why not just sniff some glue? or better yet, find some nearby train tracks...

otherwise, if you are hungry for something different in your life, you could start by learning to meditate. really, im not joking.

One of my friends tryed it and said it was crap when smoked, but when put in a bong apparently you have like 10mins of seeing weird shit and then you laugh your arse off for an hour. I was thinking of trying some. I've always just stuck to smoking weed on the odd occasion. Never tryed anything else, other drugs just scare me.

That salvia stuff didn't work for me the first time. And we did everything right. Bought the high concentration extract, smoked it in a bong, held it in.... Nothing.

Not to say that you'd be getting ripped off, because I know some people that swear it worked for them. But it's kinda silly isn't it? Visions for 10 min? Please, you can't buy introspection and self knowledge. I've taken enough hallucinogens to know that they are a waste of my time. It's not what you think, and it never will be.

Hallucinogens are great things but Salvia is bullshit. A complete waste of money and not worth the 10 minute trip. Try acid. It's dirt cheap and way more worthwhile.

Mushrooms are great, too.

If you're trying to be a legal little cunt go with Morning Glory Seeds. Fantastic.
