2006 Annual Book Sale

May 5, 6, and 7, 2006
at the George R. Brown Convention Center
Preview Sale for Friends Members -
Friday, May 5th - 4:30 to 9:00 p.m. Join at the Door
Free and Open to Everyone -
Saturday, May 6th - 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. (hardbacks $2.00, paper backs are $1.00)
All Regular Books are $10/bag -
Sunday, May 7th - noon to 4:00

I go to this book sale every year and it gets better and bigger every year. Feel free to bring a wagon or a suitcase or a cart because books is heavy! There is a waiting area where you can place the books you already have chosen and go browse some more. Hope to see you there!
On saturday the books are individually priced. On Sunday they give you a paper grocery sack and you can fill it up with as many books as you can for $10.00 a bag.
There are all types and all categories, and a ton of children's books if you want to stock up for your little ones. If you love books and browsing through books, come on!

There is a travelling book sale in Chicago that moves between various abandoned warehouses. Most of the books sell for $1 - $3 each, and they're just scattered nonsensically on top of card tables. Most of the fun lies in trying to track down its next location. It's very Waldo.
