Two new releases on pre-sale from Deathbomb Arc
DBA113 - rRope 'We Are You There' 3xLP/digital Order/Audio samples: http://deathbombarc.bigcartel.com/pr...you-there-3xlp This triple vinyl LP anthology of every release rRope put out is something I’ve wanted to help bring together since I started Deathbomb Arc. The first band released on Deathbomb, Turbine, was a band that formed from the ashes of rRope ending. No music has inspired me as much. I am very proud to share this incredible release with you. Remastering the material has been done with the greatest care. If you aren’t familiar with this incredible band, I’ve written about them below and have posted a bunch of songs from this release online. The album is out now in digital format and vinyl will ship in early May. If you pre-order the vinyl, you get an immediate download of the digital version. DBA115 - True Neutral / Patrick Wensink 'Broken Piano for President' cassette Order/Audio sample: http://deathbombarc.bigcartel.com/pr...ident-cassette ‘Broken Piano for President’ is the first audiobook we’ve released on Deathbomb Arc, and of course we’ve done it the only way we know how: with music! While most audiobooks are just readings from a novel, this one has a full score behind it, composed by Brian Miller (member of Foot Village, Back To The Future The Ride, Gang Wizard) under his new pseudonym, True Neutral. ‘Broken Piano for President’ is read by the author, Patrick Wensink. It is the story of a noise band caught up in a conspiracy involving fast food moguls, international space programs, and of course, their own insane music. This is Patrick Wensink’s third novel, which is out now on Lazy Fascist Press. The audio book contains an abridged version of the novel on side a, with score. The b side is just the score without readings, including a theme song for the novel called “Call on the Herd”, also by True Neutral. Brian Chippendale (Lightning Bolt, Black Pus), Ezra Buchla (ex-Gowns, EMA contributor), and Christina Gubala contribute performances to the score. http://deathbombarc.com |
