Cool! Love Columbus. I've never seen a show at the Wexner Center but like you, I really miss Little Brothers, as well as Stache's. It seems like most of the venues I've seen shows at in Columbus are defunct. So if anyone has a current venue in Columbus they really hate, for a reasonable fee, expenses and the cost of my ticket, I will attend a show at said venue. Before you know it, it will close!

Bernie's is one of those places I always had plans to see a show at but for various reasons never did. I did see the space once during an afternoon when they didn't have a show--long story I don't feel like repeating here.

It was nothing special. A bar, a small floor, a small stage. 100 person capacity? But it was punk as fuck.

Once I went into bathroom. Dude was puking. When he was done, I asked if he was alright. He gave me a thumbs up, then walked to stage. It was the singer of the next band.

For some insane reason, Beck played there for free right after Odelay. It was a madhouse. Surprised no one died.

they have touring shows upstairs and local shows downstairs. The place was sold and refitted a few years back, better PA. This was the first place REM performed at when they came to HOuston in 1983 I think...
