Anyone else a big fan? I have been for years. I really miss this band. They were in my opinion one of the top 5 bands of the 90's. I think it's a real travesty they never really got recognized properly. People always judge them by their hit No Rain, but I say that it is an underepresentation of their true talent as one of the best psychedelic nads of the 90's. It's a shame no one really remember them for what they are and that Shannon Hoon's death is largely ignored. Anyone else agree?

i don't mind 'em. i cant remember any songs in specific except, obviously, No Rain, but i know i downloaded a bunch and liked it a bit a while back. heres a neat thing with No Rain: i was at wonderland (amusement park) and they play a few videos and tv bits looped for the day, (which gets annoying after seeing them all a hundred times each, but its better than nothing...) but No Rain was one of the videos that day, so i heard it about 3000 times that day. i still love the song.

I was back in the day.....I sold the Bee cd when I was in 9th or 10th grade and kind of wish I didn't. I have a copy of Soup which was pretty good too.
Tooooones of Hoooooome.....that's a really beautiful song.

Yeah, Tones of Home was great. I can't believe No Rain outsold that as a single.

They were one of my favorite bands all through high school, one of the first that I championed openly and often. "These guys were the most underrated ever!"
Most of Nico is brilliant, and Soup is probably still one of my all-time favorites. "Car Seat (God's Presents)," "Toes Across the Floor" and "2x4" have always stood out for me.

get this album You won't be dissappointed. Almost every song on it is great. Yeah No Rain isn't a good song but the rest are incredible. The style is similar of early Red Hot Chili Peppers and the singer's melodies rival Perry Farrell. Great great album, I've had it since 94. |
