I know he's into free jazz for example, and he even made a compilation if I remember well. But can someone give me details?
What about hip-hop? Rock? Can you name bands or artists?

Thanks, I'm a great Pavement fan too. On the Slow Century DvD, Thurston says tons of interesting things about them, though I must admit I have a hard time understanding everything (yes...I'm telling you, this guy mumbles).
