Alright I don't care what the music sounds like that is easily one of the best album titles or best titles for a album/movie/book ever.

I'll be checking this out for sure. I liked a fair bit his latest songs, "I Know" and "Good Day Today", and i think his collaboration on "Dark Night Of The Soul" was great. I'm currently addicted to his official website, which offers a plethora of previously unreleased tracks from the "Twin Peaks" era, excellent images, and some other goodies:
http://davidlynch.com/ According to a relatively recent tweet of his, he has been doing some work related with a possible new release of "Blue Velvet", he mentioned specifically that he was dealing with timing and color correction of some deleted scenes. This is good news as well, especially considering that it was believed for a long time that all the material that didn't make it to the final cut, had disappeared. In terms of the collaborators he's been involved with in recent times, in terms of music, i cannot say i appreciate too much what they make, i'm not a huge fan of Duran Duran (anymore), and don't care a bit about Interpol, or Moby. We can't expect to get something from Karen O's mind that would be on par with even the lousiest thing Angelo Badalamenti has created in association with David Lynch in the past, but i'm always inclined to check out all of his work, and hopefully this upcoming new record will have plenty of great moments. Anyways, here's a recent interview about the album: http://stereogum.com/774601/progress...ogress-report/

I love Mr Lynch's music. to me, it sounds like music I wish the Flaming Lips made. I'm a sucker for space cowboys.
that said, "Crazy Clown Time" is the most grimace-inducing name for an album EVER. I mean really.... Crazy Clown Time....??? get the fuck out.... he should have asked my opinion first on that one. wow. Crazy Clown Time..... did I just get trolled or is that really what it's called? |

too obvious. in fact, a few hours ago, I attributed a quote
to you saying "I like the name", to which I responded, "you would". although I deleted it, it looked like this: Quote:
you would. prescience. |

Here's the official video: http://vimeo.com/18787662 In addition to the release of David Lynch's solo album, "This Train", Chrysta Bell's record produced by David Lynch, apparently will be released at the end of the year as well. You guys might remember "Polish Poem" on "Inland Empire"; a remix will possibly be included in it. Here's a video by Dutch Rall (Chrysta's close collaborator on Black Book Angel): http://vimeo.com/3710876 Also, a release of "Blue Velvet" in Blu-Ray format is now somewhat official (Let's hope it will include the unreleased material David Lynch mentioned in his twitter post): http://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=7143

opinion. yes, hyperbole is something I use all the time. yes, I am short sighted. I wasn't really making an argument. I'm not going to be politically correct and say something along the lines of: 'IN MY PERSONAL OPINION I DON'T REALLY LIKE THIS, THAT IS NOT TO SAY THAT NOBODY ELSE IS ENTITLED TO FEEL AS THEY DO ABOUT IT'
it was just a one off remark. anyways, thanks for the welcome! =D |

Arguments are welcome. It's not even necessary to hype things up, or shit on them completely. After all, it's just pop music what it's been discussed here and it shouldn't take using too many brains to communicate basic ideas as to why one dislikes a song or not, it's not as if we were talking about Quantum Mechanics, or something. That was my point, to be exact. However, i recognize I was unkind and i apologize. Hope you have fun in this place, and use your freedom to post however you see fit despite the occasional assholeness of a lost soul. If some people have fun posting pics of rectal prolapses and that's fine, my complaints don't have any sense at all (at least there isn't a Coldplay appreciation thread, and thankfully it seems we can sort of discuss David Lynch here).

Chrysta Bell's album, "This Train", produced by David Lynch, is gonna be released on September 29 on deluxe edition vinyl, CD, and digital formats. She considers the record a musical equivalent of a David Lynch film:
