Exactly, demon.
I don't understand why they couldn't have just done an off-the-wall adaptation of the novel instead of some idiot "sequel" where a teenaged Alice returns to save Wonderland. That idea has already been done several times. A straight horror version of the novel hasn't been done before. (Although Burton hasn't ever created anything that can be labeled as "straight horror".) |

Walt Disney won't let me watch the trailer haha. Meh, didn't care too much anyway, it's Tim Burton I basically know what to expect anyway.

As much as I'm obsessed with the book (s) I'm not much interested in this..Haneke should do a version of alice. With Micol Ronchi as protagonist and
William Dafoe as mad hatter and Gary Oldman as white rabbit. I hope this one will eventually come out, btw.

I just popped a boner. (thanks to Gellar, not Burton)
Only Burton films I like are Batman '89 and Ed Wood. |

Bastards removed the trailer.
I was looking at pictures earlier today, they look sick. This movie will either flop or be super amazing.

This movie won't flop. Has a Burton film, aside from Ed Wood, ever flopped? The general public just likes garbage.

I didn't really mean flop in the EVERYONE hates it sense. I was more talking about whether or not it would be a flop in my books.
The general public does like garbage though. That is why I can't find a single good thing to watch on TV tonight.

Burton kind of pisses me off. When he was doing his own stuff he was awesome. "Edward Sicssorhands" and "BeetleJuice", even "Ed Wood", but ever since he made that goddamn "Planet of The Apes" he just seems like he's ran out of fresh ideas. I'm tired of his re-makes or re-imaginings. Is he out of original ideas? Sad

"Beetlejuice" is one of those films I fondly remembered for years and then went back and watched kinda recently and discovered it's not nearly as good as I remember. I think the most interesting thing about it is how Beatlegeuse is only in the movie for 11 minutes (of a 100 minute movie about him). Always found that interesting for whatever reason.
