I like it muchly. Definately not one of my favourites, but I wouldn't insult it, aside from "why are you so mean-o." *shudder....*

i like Theresa's sound world, that song is amazing, It's my favourite sonic youth song from the whole of the 90's.

It's not terrible but it's nothing I listen to that often. Rather Ripped and Nurse are FAR FAR worse.

C'mon. I call bullshit on that. Both grossly underrated. Nurse especially.

It's alright. Sugar Kane is sweet with all them' double meanings n' shit. The album brings back good memories of high school. |

Dirty is incredible.... JC, Wish Fufillment, Theresa's Sound World and Chapel Hill are 4 of my favourite SY tracks of the 90's... I used to VASTLY prefer Dirty to Jet Set, but lately I've been really warming up to Jet Set, it's realllly great.

JC is one of my favourite Kim tracks (most emotionally stirring SY song, in my opinion). She has so many great ones, thinking about it.

It's the one that I started with and that got me into SY, although I rarely return to it nowadays... I guess I have the same thing as Paulybee.
But when I do listen to it once every year then I realise that there are some amazing songs on it. Swimsuit Issue, Theresa Soundworld, Shoot, Wish Fulfillment, Sugar Kane, On the Strip, Chapel Hill, JC, Purr, Genetic (oops, that's not on it... thanks Thurston )... great songs, each of them. |
