Uhmmm... audacity is the most simplest and easiest you're gonna get. It's free also.

audacity is awesome, and i can't say it enough. i use it for recording/multi-tracking/editing and mixing. i highly recomend it.

thanks for the replies, people
i've tried audacity and reaper and they're good but when i record my guitar parts it takes 5 seconds until the recording starts to sound phased/watery.. anyone knows whys that? im trying to download the others as well

even if i record just one track.. it sounds ok but then it starts to sound all wrong.. like with an effect or something... weird O_O
