Don't be a phony! People recognize insincerity immediately.

Invite others to help you. If you have a guest who's not mingling well, invite them to help you check on the punch or even allow them to help you fix the punch.

I'm definately going to try the "Jim have you met Sally" line at my next party outing. I can't wait. Why didnt I think of that one. It is GOLD.

I have to go to a party that I don't really want to go to, for somebody who I don't know, who is "going away".

it really seems pointless.

nobody really wants to go.

I'm only going because I'm told that it's near the Dickies outlet, and I desperately need a new hoodie, and maybe, some pantzz.
