Is the Vampire Diaries any good?

I literally have never seen a second of it. Don't know who's in it or what it's about- aside from vampires.

Just curious, but not curious enough to actually engage someone in a conversation about it at work.

I'm imagining Gilmore Girls meets Twilight, but I don't know. Don't even know the network it's on.

it's on CW. it's kind of teen soap opera style but it's interesting, i like it. i have little patience for this kinda stuff so i stopped watching at some point, i'll probably work my way through the series all at once when it gets canceled.

i don't consider it all that similar to twilight, it's better in every way

The only thing that even sorta intrigues me about it is that its got Kevin Williamson (Scream, Scream 2, the Faculty, I Know What You did Last Summer) as one of the lead writers. It looks pretty lame to me though.

I say, watch Buffy instead.

CW was all I needed to hear. No go.

True Blood's HBO, and Being Human (UK) is BBC. I didn't even know CW still existed.
