What's the best pre-gig music you've heard? Mine was when I went to see a 'nobodies' band called Cow, which weren't much cop, but put on some great records before they took to the stage.

That reminds me of a fairly average band i saw a few years ago. I can't remember their name. They also put some quite good songs on before their set.

EDIT: This is instantly my favourite thread. Vague being the new irony and all that.
