And I intend to make it into a nice summer home for me and my family, where we can just get away for a while and escape from the harrowing demands of the "rat race." I know this really cool interior decorator, but if any of you have suggestions please let me know!

I need no help with interior decoration.
As anyone who has seen my many shots of my living room can attest, I have hired HR Giger, The Jetsons and Satan to decorate for me. I think they do a pretty good job. |

Is that the Satan from Texas, or a different one?

Satan is far too cool to live in Texas. He's more of a Tokyo guy. People dress well there, and he's not as well known, so he doesn't get mobbed on the street when he goes to get groceries.

I watched Chelsea Girls last night and somehow the 'carachters' in it reminded me of some of the posters on here. And that's a compliment........or an insult.

What is Chelsea Girls? Besides an album by Nico and a Lou Reed song?

I think I might have actually seen that as an installation at some art museum once.

Yeah, isn't it funny, porkmarras, how one has premonitions of what is to come before they post a message?
It tires me to deal with the utter predictability of it all. That's one reason I go off on tangents when I post. Not to do so to show off, but to explain myself better so that I won't have to answer all the inevitable questions that arise & it just plain sucks to have to add disclaimers & addendums to nearly every fucking thing I fucking write. Every time I try to just post without fucking annotating the fucker, I get dumbass fucking questions or asshole fucking contrarian attempts at correction. I'm sick of all the adverbs too. When I decided to start posting here at the new board, I vowed to not give a damn & keep my replies shorter, which I have, yet my posts are still longer than the average. Now ultimately, I'm not against people asking questions, it's just that I wish (foolishly) that people, in general, had more intelligent questions. Needless to say, (WRITE) it's like some people have never heard of google. |
