I liked it considering I tend to watch only a handful of episodes a season. But the show just isn't consistant, they can do a fantastic episode like the finale, but they can also do a very boring and pointless episode too. Even the producers admitted that, so "Lost" isn't flawless, but when its great it lives up to its hype.

I haven't seen any since the Sky channels were removed from Virgin cable subscribers. I've had about five letters from Sky asking me to join them, and each one can be returned with a great big B******* written across it. Sky can take their greedy grasping paws and shove them up...
I'm missing Lost, and I'm not going to go back through this thread in case I hit a spoiler! Looking forward to seeing the DVDs when they come out. I hope the Danielle character is still making appearances. I read in the Daily Telegraph today that there are to be three more (shorter) series before the thing ends in 2010.

Anyway, this episode was good. It finally gave me something that I can theorize with. I think that all of the Losties (and Desmond too) were set up to be on the island (especially Desmond), by Dharma/Hanso/Widmore. We see this through Desmond's flashback. Widmore corporation (as in owned by Penny Widmore's father) had a connection with the Hanso foundation who started the Dharma Initiative. I believe that Dharma needed someone for their experiments, and Widmore didn't want his daughter dating Desmond so he told him about that boat race and Libby (who also appeared in one of Hurely's flashbacks) gave him the boat (which could have been rigged to get him there to the island). Naomi (who might have been a puppet, who didn't actually know what she was doing) informed us that the plane crash was found along witht he bodies, which I believe is a Dharma cover up (meaning they knew they were going to crash). Let's not forget that Dharma/the Others know every fucking thing about the Losties. So...Since Ben betrayed Dharma and joined the Others (or Natives/Hostiles), Hanso and Widmore are trying to come in a do something (like take out the Others and continue the Dharma-life-improving experiments), which would explain what Naomi is doing there. I could go on and on...but I'm a bit too lazy at the moment. |
