Here's the situation I moved into a house 2 months ago knowing that this month someone was going to take the room I was renting I believe in first come first serve basis but friends have their friend moving in & had no place to go so the situation is as it is. I couldn't save all the money cause I had 1 job & was making 100 a week now I have 2 & can fend for self. I found a place but I move in by the first & I clearly explained it to both of the other room mates & they know how stressed I've been. I get a call from my friend/house mate telling me that the other room mates are restless & they want me out so I'm highly pissed @ this point & he tell me that the other mates have been emailing him about me moving & how I haven't talked to them about the situation when I've showed them my plans for me moving. My heart to deal with this meeting is wrath. I feel like pulling all their ho cards & challenging them on the shit. I have no friends or family in the area & I need to make move. I don't need them as friends if they want me out cause I haven't done a thing to make them want me to leave. My thought to them are do you think I enjoy sleeping in the couch (fuck no!!!) Do you think I want to stay here (fuck no!!!) so in order for me not to bash the bunch of pussies I need to keep my cool & I don't know how. Now I have to go to the houyse & deal with the situation due to the fact that they can't approach me like a man & talk about it they have to email my friend & he has to calll me with this bullshit, how do I deal with this ?

There is no doubting that these people come off as passive-aggressive, anal-retentive, fucked-up,
tight A$$es according to your account; that's for sure. A few years ago, I had to live in an office for awhile (had a kitchenette though) because I was in-between leases. The guy that kicked me out (because he was getting married and selling the property) was an ex-pastor, no less. Shit, I suppose you already have offered to sleep on the floor out of the way somewhere and stay out of the place most of the time already? Maybe they could compromise and allow you to just sleep and store your things there tucked away during the interim and you could shower over at friends' places. If all else fails, I suppose it's off to rotational couch-surfing or maybe the Salvation Army. I've had to couch-surf around and keep my stuff in a friend's garage for awhile before. Not to make light, but it helps build character (maybe?). You know what? Please do this. One time I was having money problems after a long-term girlfriend left my ass and I just wandered into a Catholic Church one afternoon while walking home from downtown. I went through the entrance into this sort of waiting area with pews in the large hallway after signing-in with a woman behind a cheap folding table (that they brought out on the days they did this sort of thing, I guess). Then, I was called in and I told the gentleman my general problems and woes. He patiently listened silently, and when I was through, he asked if there was maybe a bill in my name that the church could pay to help me out. Simple as that. He never asked anything else really. He never even asked me about how often I attend any services, ever being Catholic, being saved, or about perhaps considering being a member of their church. I went back the next day with the documentation and he cut me a check to the power company to pay a bill for which they had allowed me to accrue several months (this was years ago) of non-payment. Anyway, I've always been astonished by that act of charity. I know lots of Protestant churches offer free food banks and things, but my experience with that particular Catholic one was just wonderful...entirely non-intrusive and fully non-judgemental. Anyway, just some ideas. Probably some you already have been unfortunately forced to think of yourself. At nine-thirty in the morning today a financial meltdown e-mail was unfortunately received. Luckily, begging off seems for the moment to have helped somewhat. [I originally typed more than a vague account of this, but deleted it.] Although, I'm not out of the woods just yet. I seem to spend a lot of time haha in said woods. It may still happen eventually as this year post-July has been atrociously bad and even worse than last year. I wish I had enough money to just buy some of your art. Like you wrote yourself, "you need to calm the fuck down" because at the moment you're highly agitated. I would avoid violence or related drama. That's my advice, although you certainly have a right to be pissed. I know I would be and was severely upset when the similar circumstance happened to me. __________________ Jesus is just Alright Talk nice and polite |

Man, my heart goes out. You know if was still in the area you'd have a place to stay, but alas, I'm far gone.

All is dealt with. I put my game face on & all but one was there. I talked to them & told them that I've had them posted of the situation the other roommate wasn't there but I told him the same as I told my friend the other roommate. So they where cool with it, I just had to look really pissed I guess. My friend called after he left & asked if we where still cool & I was like yeah & explained how he came across wrong & from left field after he knew the plans. He told me he wasn't trying to pull anything new so now I have to figure who was the main person bitching about me. Is it the new room mate or the one who was missing...

Glad you didn't "Bash their heads with (your) nunchucks."
Then again, you might not have computer access from jail or prison, so it's debatable. That's supposed to be a joke, by the way. |

Hmm, says "Location: Right next to you" which has me looking over my shoulder hehee.
Anyway, couldn't help but to think of "Okie From Muskogee" by Merle Haggard due to word similarity. I saw the replay of a Letterman interview with Steve Zahn (the Suburbia doofus) for the masterful Rescue Dawn film, and Steve was talking about his farm in Kentucky outside of Lexington. Wonder if he knows Bob Nastanovich. I'm thinking he probably does. |

Man, atari, your thing about the check from that Catholic church brought a tear to my eye and is almost good enough to make me want to renounce my renouncement of my Catholic upbringing. Almost. Seriously. That's one of the kindest acts of charity I've ever heard of.
