Sorry, I needed to be more specific in the title. Nothing by Japanese people, and nothing on an independent label.
So ... reset. |

Oh, so not High Rise - Live then.
In that case it's something you've already got by Motorhead or AC/DC, I expect. |

OK, I'm withdrawing the no Japanese/Indie label rule, albeit reluctantly.

I just watched some stuff on youtube and straightaway thought they sounded like they were ripping off Unsane ... and then I realised! Completely not what I'm looking for in this instance, but that Konono thing is flipping amazing. Quote:

think more in terms of iron crosses, bullet belts and umlauts. Motorhead x 10 is what I'm after.

Are there any decent albums out there where someone has built up something almost symphonic out of samples of heavy metal riff? Kind of like the Slayer bits that Alec Empire used in one of Atari Teenage Riot's tracks, or like Young Gods were doing at one point, but more, and heavier, and without the shouty bits. And little or no soloing. Just forty minutes of relentless riff. Grayfolded, but using Slayer.
Surely there must be something like that? If there is, then I recommend it to you Mr Demonrail - and request to be told what it is. |
