I assume you'll be going, Jef - have a good time. In the meantime, I am SO looking forward to the day that teleportation is invented...

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but MCIAA were really, really fantastic at ATP. One of the dudes was taking Polaroids of things, signing them and throwing them to the audience.

Went to check them out yesterday.
Black Forest/Black Sea was very good. Although the guitarist had some probs with one of his pedals in the end. They ended with a slightly noisier song. Then my first time seeing Fursaxa. Fucking awesome set. a crossover between medieval and enchanting spells. Incredible loops and some moments had their magic. I bought a cdr from Tara, really nice. Then MCIAA: they were louder then I've ever seen them play. I taped them earlier this year much more quiet. Even when I saw them open for SY in 98 they weren't this loud. And last time they told me they thought they were so loud back then. I thought they were better then at KRAAK fest in March. Great evening!!! Trasher02, I didn't see you. Were you there as well? |
