can someone please explain something to me?
i have the not not fun 7" club and one of the bands featured there is burmese who play very short and fast no wavy songs. so i downloaded an album called white a couple of weeks ago and the album is generic bland noise, nothing like the stuff on the 7", then i stumble upon a website that says burmese broke up a number of years ago but just a couple of weeks ago i found an ep from them released in 2005 and this one is more in line with not not fun single. so are there two bands called burmese? can someone tell me more about this? i like the short and fast burmese a lot, so any info you can give me would be great. |

Hmm... I have that 7". I liked it but not enough to look more into the band really. Weird.

Well, I have Men LP, which was released by Load. Pretty good album, ultra heavy and abrasive. Also the cover art is one of my faves.

The only Burmese band I know of is the one from the bay area that also has a member who is currently in the Flying Luttenbachers. I think it's the bassist.
