Nice, melodic tuneage from you boys there - very reminiscent of English groups, like v early P Floyd in a more song-based style, the Smiths etc.

I missed this comment. I was just looking up the thread to bump it because more people commented on the rough mixes when I was asking for advice than the final product (Atsonicpark Im looking at you)! WTF! ahaha
Thanks Melly, Syd Barrett is a big influence on me for sure. & of course the liverpool boys. Help us get a UK demand so we can come play over there! Our friends Gringo Star do pretty well in the UK |

Please tell me that Baron Von Headless is the name of your band. Love it.
EDIT: Nevermind, I followed the link. I must say, while I like the music, I'm disappointed in the band name (maybe just because I was expecting Baron Von Headless). Of the three studs in the band, which is you? |

I do like the music, very much actually. 'Hot Damn' seems to be my favorite. You have a lovely voice.
You should seriously consider changing the band name to Baron Von Headless though |

Thanks dude! thnx alot!
but no :-) haha I like The Harlequins, for many reasons. Baron von Headless was almost a song title but I think it fit our record much better and the lyrics weren't coming. |

Very well. I just have trouble accepting any band name that utilizes a pluralized noun with "the" in front of it.
My problem, not yours! |

No worries, it was our response to "Fall Out Boy" and "Panic At The Disco" and "My Morning Jacket" and all these three word bands that were popping up and etc. when we started 2 years ago!
chose the harlequins because I was always a class clown and we're all jackass's in our own right :-) but sad clowns. |

So disturbing! That's probably the most extreme case I've seen of it. But yeah, I'd like to think our music can be beautiful but also have a dark side sometimes. Such is life.

Your cover is cooler than any of the art of mine you were considering. I haven't had a chance to listen (child asleep right now) but I will!

Any advice on some zines/good music blogs we should send this CD to get reviewed by? I don't really keep up on them, I'm too into creating, but I feel it could be a help.
