Listening to Sister Lovers at the mo and you have to admit they really were one HELLUVA band. In fact I'm gonna turn it into my latest personal crusade to turn everyone here who hasn't yet heard them to surrender to their beautifully doomed power-pop tragedy.

wow the little known big star, i have only heard a couple of songs but they are great, their albums are hard to find. my favourite record store is named after this band

Everything now is re-released. You can get their first two albums together on a single CD so cheap from Amazon it's almost wrong.

The #1 Record/Radio City split is pretty classic....haven't listened to it forever though.
