I'm desperately trying to remember the titles of two movies to no avail.
First movie (watched a long time ago): Somebody drops lsd in the water of some zoo and the animals go mental, break free from from the zoo and go on a killing spree. I believe it's a late 70's movie, or possibly early 80's. Second movie (again, watched it ages ago): Rats go mental in a big city (New York, I think) and start eating humans. I think this one too is mid to late 70's, or possibly early 80's. If you know them, please let us know 'cause I wanna hunt them down both on whatever format they might be available on. There have been several movies involving evil rats, but the one I mentioned is the most 'modern' that I can think of. |

Google brings this as a possibilty for the second one...
http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0083801 at least it's an early 80's movie about killer rats in a big city (Toronto) edit: oh, that's the same as nicfit... nevermind |

There's a particular scene on the second one that might help:
This couple are getting well aquainted with each other at the back of a car, and the rats (not gigantic ones, though) get into it and the rest you can imagine. From what I remember it is a different movie from Deadly Eyes. |

Unfortunately they are not, but thanks for your help anyway. I've been trying to think of all the movies I've watched that have rats in them, but none seem to fit the memory of that particular one.

Yep, I smell the careless hand of Bruno Mattei in the second one as well. Good work, pokkehrrie. I've never seen "Wild Beasts", but I've inflicted several of Franco Prosperi's films on myself already ("Farewell Uncle Tom", anyone?), so kinda feel duty bound to subject myself to this. Besides, it's got Lorraine "Women's Camp 119" DeSalle in it, so it should be fun...and talking of "Women's Camp 119", wasn't that directed by Bruno Mattei? Ah, the Italians. Who else would give us such works of genius as "The Beast In Heat"?

last one before i give up... probably not his either then?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0067991/ you could try checking this list of imdb with keyword "rat" http://www.imdb.com/keyword/rat/ "beast in heat". that's one amazing movie indeed. that whole late 70's women-in-nazi-camps-exploitation-thing is just so bizarre to begin with. edit: and again the same as nicfit.. .although yours is the sequel. |

as far as I can remember, "ben" is more "rats-killing-people" based, while "Willard" has a stronger psychological side that I suppose porky would remember... but who knows!
