The SY myspace page has "Brave Men Run" on its jukebox. I wonder if that's a hint at a reissue of BAD MOON? Although when they hinted at the MASTERDIK reissue the year said "1988/2008" and this just says "1985." Still, that could be awesome. Awesome.

The problem is that the geffen reissues in the 90s included some bonus tracks off the EPs and singles, which makes you wonder what else they could cook up from the archives to put on to this deluxe edition without expanding into EVOL territory..

Death Vally/Brave Men 7" versions, Overkill yr Idols 7" tracks, Halloween II, Flower radio edit, Rewolf, Satan Is Boring Supermix, and then some unreleased archival stuff or some live tracks?
Maybe even WALLS HAVE EARS as disc 2? |

I would love a deluxe edition of the rest of their 80s albums, a live disc would be amazing, like they did with DDN.

The live disc is good... but I sort of wished that they had used the live tracks from the CANDLE EP, SILVER ROCKET 7" and so on...

Bad Moon would make a good 2-Lp deluxe edition, like they did with their self-titled debut. The original 'Brave Men Run'/'Death Valley '69' 7-inch, and the tracks off the various versions of 'Flower'/Hallowe'en' could comprise Record Two.

They could put a few versions of Kat N Hat on that as well!
I would die to hear that. Why, my favorite album of all time expanded! Great! |

EVOL with live disc from the period would be a sonic orgasm.

Speaking of which viewtiful... if you don't already own LIVE AT THE CONTINENTAL CLUB, you need to get it. (also available on emusic).
I really think all the Official Bootlegs need to be reissued as official archival releases. |

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll be checking that one out for sure.
Yeah like Bob Dylan's bootleg series or to a lesser Extent Neil Young's archives. That would be pretty damn awesome.

All I really wish is that they would stop making you buy the original fucking CD with it. Can they not just sell the bonus disc by itself for a normal price? That goes for every band that has a Deluxe Edition.

The Overkill Yr Idols tracks would probably fit better on a Confusion Deluxe, but yeah, a BMR one would be fucking sweet. How about adding in a DVD of the Gila Monster Jamboree?

I've long thought the same. Instead of a reissue, why not just a b-sides disc from each album/era. |
