polvo too! the meat puppets should do 'up on the sun' instead, though. i'm assuming they'll add more acts? aren't sebadoh doing 'bubble & scrape'?

this 'covering an entire album' thing is getting a little out of hand, but i can't deny the awesome assurance of the presentation of the full work. 'daydream' was certainly supercool just to at least hear those songs. and, as mentioned in a recent thread, psychic hearts has a fair amount of nostalgic worship in my mind, though i do still appreciate the following as legitimately cool thurston songs: 'queenbee' 'cindy' 'cherry' 'pretty' 'elegy!' 'hangout' 'ono' 'titletrack!!' 'patti' 'blues' hmm almost said the whole record now, eh? i do think it stands up contrary to the common criticisms (simple riffs, 'sassy' [?] vocals singing in unison w/ simple riffs, etc) but .. i dunno? i like it? and would be cool to see it live. 'superchrist' and 'church/outcasts' too please!

but like, on the west coast.

yeah, i agree it is getting out of hand. i mean when sonic youth did daydream nation with redd kross doing born innocent i thought that was going to be it. but nope, everyone's doing it now.

more than half the "acts" are nostalgia trips. You know whats worse than filthy hippies? Overcapitalized indie twinks who think they're being cutting edge going to see decades old bands like Meat Puppets. But you can show your individuality by partaking in activities like:

Activities which are come at extra cost are: Tennis Lessons and Private Court Time.
Racquetball Courts & Equipment: No charge with own equipment (first come, first served)
Wallyball Court & Equipment: No charge with own equipment (first come, first served)
18 Hole Championship Golf Course / Golf Club rental.

i'd almost have to say his new wave bandits of Brokaw and Heyner, cause of the fact they learned to play a good number of those Psy Hearts songs during the the trees tour, but i'd love if they got Tim Foljhan back in to round it out

We are also pleased to announce that the next batch of ATP New York tickets are now on sale. There are two types of tickets on-sale today: first tickets without accommodation, and second tickets with accommodation at the nearby Raleigh Hotel. The Raleigh Hotel is situated approximately 10 minutes bus ride away from Kutshers and we will be running shuttle buses between the two hotels. The Raleigh also has a nightclub where we will have djs playing into the night and other performances.
Tickets are priced at $225 each + booking fee. Single day tickets are not available.
PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE RALEIGH OR KUTSHERS IN REGARDS TO ATP. Any questions need to be directed to feedback@atpfestival.com as this is the only address that will be able to answer questions.

The accommodation comes in rooms for 3 or 4 persons.
3 persons - $450 (Plus tax + bf)
4 persons - $600 (Plus tax + bf)
Accommodations are sold by the room in 3 day blocks only, (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), you cannot buy just a single night. You are permitted to have any number up to the maximum occupancy in the room. For example, if you wish to purchase a 4 person occupancy room, you are permitted to have 1 - 4 people sharing the room during the event, and the price is the same for the room, regardless of how many people stay. Each person will still need to purchase a festival pass.
