Possibly "Rahter Ripped" is a reference to J. Richard Rahter, a former commodore of Treasure Island Tennis & Yacht Club at Treasure Island in Florida, and the time that his dinghy got washed out to sea, almost all the way to Cuba, when caught in a rip current?
