Yeah I have some album of theirs with really long stupid song titles. Did that come out this year? My friend sent it to me a few months ago cuz he knows I'm into this kind of stuff..... Stupid band name, stupid song titles.. but really good math rocky stuff with some weirdness thrown in.

i'm surprised you missed this one Paul.
i mean i for one came to know them through this very place via atsonicpark i believe (Mathrock thread). I know my mathrock pretty well, but these guys are so good. hella are great by very messy Don Cab were great , but they're dead now (he he) but this is exactly what i was looking for , like a lightweight and humble Don Cab. I can bloody dance to it also!!! Check out the girl dancing on the left. Amazing to see a mathrock band able to make people DANCE???!!!! ha yes! |

Yeah Giraffes? Giraffes! are pretty good. Maybe a bit too technic sometimes for me, but I'm just being picky, they're good. I love their titles

Yeah I probably mentioned them elsewhere. I dunno.
Math rock song titles in general usually suck. |

^^^Mathrock song titles are only ironic, sarcastic, me thinks
and i also think most of these bands also play some of their music in a cynical way, like "we can play, we could play anything, we're into indie rock , let's play prog indie!!!!" i think it's mostly a refined sense of humour. |

True.
My favorite math rock band, period, is probably sleeping people. |

ha ha that's cool you like them, they're awesome.
actually it's fair enough since you made me discover Ahleuchatistas so it's "deuce" You still haven't told me if you listened/liked the one i sent you ages ago(gentle veincut). |
